You
are probably wondering about the new look and what VIP represents.
Well, I have an exciting new forum for young women who are looking
for a creative outlet. It is a ground-breaking program that I feel
will help inspire young women and give them vision and purpose beyond
“today” and “right now.” Girls are so complex
and are looking for acceptance by their peers, boys, and the adults
in their lives. They are searching for answers and trying to figure
out where they fit in. I have worked with young ladies in different
forums over the past 15 years in schools and churches and the common
theme is that they NEVER feel like anyone has influence over them.
Yet, they are not aware of how much influence they have over one another.
They are very smart, strong, and very opinionated people. VIP is for
them, about them, and in some instances by them. They get a chance
to write creatively, perform, speak and impact one another positively.
But this is by no means a game. This forum will tackle tough issues
that are important to them while practical application will inspire
them to continue to write and articulate themselves through art, written
and verbal expression. These are skills that will help them throughout
their lives.
